Profile
Mr. Canfield chairs the firm’s Corporate Practice Area. He has over 25 years of experience in the areas of commercial/corporate law and finance law, handling a wide array of transactional matters throughout the United States. He has experience in areas of mergers and acquisitions (both equity and asset based), project development and a variety of lending transactions from both the lenders' and borrowers' perspective including asset and formula-based lending, letters of credit facilities and construction financing as well as representing borrowers in project specific non-recourse loans through the commercial mortgage backed securitization market. His experience in general commercial matters include preparing/negotiating commercial leases, distributorship and licensing agreements.

- Business clients, ranging from sole proprietorships to publicly-held multinational corporations, in formation, corporate maintenance and various transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial developments and financing. Often acts as adjunct to in-house counsel.
