Areas of Practice
Representative Clients / Matters
- Provides consulting services to many businesses with respect to the New York State Empire Zones Program, assessing the opportunity and benefits available to them as they undertake certain projects or expansion.
- Educates businesses on the Zones Program and ensures they are structured to take full advantage of all available benefits.
- Administration of desk audits, analysis of credits received, preparation of credit claims forms and compliance issues.
- Involved with direct equity projects and community development projects, and has provided consulting services to local zones regarding zone boundary amendments and other administrative issues.
- Provides project development and consulting services, from assisting small businesses in proceedings with planned renovations, to full-scale project development.
- Oversees a range of early project development issues including, right-to-build, project financing, negotiations with industrial development agencies, structuring of economic benefits available, project analyses to determine financial feasibility, and interactions with various consultants.
